Position Overview:
As a Carpenter, you'll perform residential and commercial reconstruction work following property damage caused by water, fire, storms, vehicle impacts, and other insured losses.
This position requires a well-rounded carpenter capable of performing a wide variety of rough and finish carpentry tasks while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all phases of residential reconstruction.
- Complete rough and finish carpentry work.
Repair and replace:
- Framing
- Drywall
- Trim and finish carpentry
- Baseboard and casing
- Crown molding
- Interior and exterior doors
- Windows
- Cabinets and vanities
- Shelving
- Deck components
- Siding
- Soffit and fascia
- Flooring underlayment and subfloors
- Install insulation and vapor barriers.
- Perform demolition as needed while protecting unaffected areas.
- Read and follow scopes of work and construction plans.
- Identify hidden damages and communicate findings to the Project Manager.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Protect customer belongings and finished areas throughout construction.
- Operate power tools and construction equipment safely.
- Ensure work meets company quality standards and applicable building codes.
- Work alongside subcontractors and other trades when necessary.
- Complete punch list items and final detail work.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while working in occupied homes and businesses.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of residential and/or commercial carpentry experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and building materials.
- Ability to complete both rough and finish carpentry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.

- Punch-out and finish work
Additional trade experience is a major plus.
