Skinkle Construction Group is looking for experienced, dependable, and motivated Carpenters to join our growing restoration and reconstruction team.
We specialize in restoring residential and commercial properties following water, fire, storm, and other property damage. Our work involves everything from structural repairs to complete interior and exterior reconstruction.
No two projects are the same! We're looking for well-rounded carpenters who take pride in their craftsmanship, enjoy a variety of work, and are committed to delivering quality results.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all phases of residential and light commercial reconstruction, including rough and finish carpentry.
- Repair, replace, and install framing, drywall, insulation, doors, windows, trim, molding, cabinets, vanities, flooring, etc.
- Complete exterior repairs, including siding, soffit, fascia, decking, and other exterior components.
- Perform selective demolition, structural repairs, and general construction tasks as needed.
- Read and follow construction plans, estimates, and scopes of work.
- Identify additional or hidden damage and communicate findings to the Project Manager.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites while protecting customers' homes and belongings.
- Work independently and alongside other team members and subcontractors to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and applicable building codes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of carpentry or general construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of rough and finish carpentry, construction methods, and building materials.
- Ability to perform multiple construction trades with minimal supervision.
- Experience with drywall, trim, doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, etc.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and quality workmanship.
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work well with others.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., work on ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
