We're looking for an experienced, organized, and customer-focused Project Manager to oversee residential reconstruction projects from start to finish. This position is ideal for someone with a strong construction background who enjoys leading projects, managing people, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Position Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee multiple insurance restoration projects simultaneously. You will serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, insurance carriers, subcontractors, and internal team while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and possesses excellent leadership and communication skills. Experience in insurance restoration, reconstruction, construction management, or property insurance claims is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage residential reconstruction projects from initial handoff through final completion.
  • Review estimates and scopes of work to ensure project accuracy.
  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and deliveries.
  • Conduct initial project meetings with homeowners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the construction process.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality, and overall progress.
  • Perform routine site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with company standards.
  • Identify and resolve construction issues before they become delays.
  • Maintain accurate job documentation, including:
    • Daily project notes.
    • Progress photos.
    • Material orders.
    • Change orders.
    • Supplemental work.
    • Customer communications.
  • Coordinate with estimators regarding supplements and additional damages.
  • Work closely with insurance adjusters to facilitate approvals and project progress.
  • Ensure projects comply with local building codes and permitting requirements.
  • Maintain job site cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
  • Perform final walkthroughs with customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Collect required documentation, including completion certificates and final paperwork.
  • Maintain excellent customer service throughout every phase of the project.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and building materials.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based software.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred:
  • Experience managing insurance restoration or reconstruction projects.
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Estimator, or Insurance Adjuster.
  • Knowledge of water, fire, storm, and structural repairs.
  • Experience with estimating and project management software, including:
    • Xactimate (preferred).
    • DASH.
    • Encircle.
    • Symbility.
    • Microsoft Office.
    • Google Workspace.
  • Understanding of insurance claim processes and supplemental estimating.
